I took my first ceramics class in college as a studio requirement toward a degree in graphic design. 20 years later I rediscovered my love for clay at a community arts center in Concord, MA. A few years later I have my own studio!
My work tends to be nature inspired with soft flowing lines. You’ll never catch me making an entire set of dinnerware (yawn), but instead experimenting from one theme to the next. I work mostly in white stoneware and the ever persnickety, porcelain and I fire to cone 6 (2232F) in an ancient electric kiln named after my artist grandmother, Fifi.
